Hace 12000 años en sudamérica, un niño llamado Quma impulsado por la curiosidad y el ánimo de volverse cazador se pierde en el monte encontrando mamíferos gigantes y un mundo totalmente nuevo para él. Experimenta los primeros pasos de su despertar espiritual cuando un viaje solo en la naturaleza cambia su perspectiva para siempre! Esta obra fue imaginada para compartir el patrimonio cultural y natural de Sudamérica con el resto del mundo. Un gran equipo trabajó para producir este cortometraje: animadores de stop motion, artistas paisajísticos, decoradores y diseñadores de set, realizadores de pelaje en papel y vestuario, escultores, constructores de estructuras, realizadores de moldes de silicona, pintores de puppets, modeladores 3D, equipo de iluminación y cámaras!

This project was envisioned to share Southamerica´s cultural and natural heritage with the rest of the world. Archeologists and paleonthologists added their knowledge to help it grow as an educational content for schools and museums.

We believe that Quma can connect with the “mini naturalists” we all are as children,

hoping to bring new generations of nature caretakers and storytellers
